George Michael stages concert in Bulgaria to support nurses in Libya
Pop music idol George Michael will stage a concert in Bulgaria in support of the five Bulgarian nurses sentenced to death for deliberate HIV infection in Libya.
Michael postponed a concert in German city of Dusseldorf to come to Bulgaria, avtora.com reported.
According to organizers Michael requested information on the trial in Libya.
The concert is part of Michael’s 25 Live Tour and will be held at 8pm on May 28 2007 at Sofia’s Lokomotiv stadium.
Preliminary data said that Michael will connect some of his songs to the trial in Libya.
A crew of 150 people and a huge amount of equipment will arrive in Bulgaria for the concert, avtora.com said.
Tickets will cost from 50 to 70 leva. Most of the money from the ticket sale will be donated to the campaign in support of the nurses.
