Post subject: Dyson Spare Parts |

Hi All,
I am trying to track down "Dyson" spare parts (suction hose for a DC4) I've had no luck on-line, and I can't get suppliers in the UK to deliver.
Any help appreciated as my hose is getting shorter by the day and I am running low on duct tape. |

If your hose has broken it probably means your machine is getting old, by the time you have bought and then posted your new hose you will probably near the cost of buying a new vaccum. I bought a Karcher wet/dry machine from Praktika, works well! and about 200lev and parts available in Bulgaria.
I normaly get stuff posted to my mothers in the uk then off she trolls to the post office to send to me in Bulgaria, not so expensive and usually 3 days Peter |

Thanks for your reply.
I brought over two Dysons and apart from the hoses they are both OK and I can always use one for spare parts if needed.
I managed to get a hose yesterday from a guy who repairs domestic appliances. He had a shed load of old hoover spares, and managed to "russtle up a winner" from the depths of his pile. Mr Dyson wouldn't approve, but for 5 Leva I don't care |

| Hi Benj, reading your post has prompted me to look for bags for my kirby I know I had plenty when I got here but now only have 2 left...does anyone know if they're available out here (I haven't seen any) or would it be a post it from the UK job? |

Sparky I wouldn't let the locals near my kirby! actually I don't let my other half near it either, not that I want to keep him away from it, it's just that he'd need a map and compass to find it, it's in a big dark cupboard way out of his reach so he doesn't want to make it do some of the things they say it will & we all know men don't do big dark cupboards- (they call them garages!) same thing/different name - full of 'stuff' |

Hi, my brother in law is in the business of buying, repairing and selling on Dysons.
If you like I can ask him how much a spare hose for your DC4 would cost to have sent over.
