Overview

The Bulgarian property market has been developing at a fast pace over the past couple of years and the number of property investment opportunities is mindboggling. Most individual foreign investors are interested in winter resorts like Bansko or Bulgaria's Black Sea coastal areas. Sofia's central districts also have a wide range of property offered for sale.
Bulgaria's EU accession provoked growing interest towards purchases in the country. Now that the low-cost flight operators have finally discovered Bulgaria, the country is looking like a more viable opportunity for Western European investors interested in buying a second home or vacation property abroad.
