
Bulgaria's Maria Ilieva performs alongside Scorpions and Simply Red
A concert called Stars of Europe will be part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome which lays the foundations of the European Union.
Singer Maria Ilieva will be the only Bulgarian artist to take part in the concert, avtora.com said.
Ilieva will perform on one stage with more than 30 European celebrities, such as Eros Ramazzotti, Scorpions, Zucchero, Simply Red, Julio Iglesias and The Corrs.
The concert will be held on March 24 2007 at the Atomium Square, the symbol of Brussels.
Bulgarian National Television (BNT) and 37 other European televisions will air the concert live, avtora.com said.
Leading European social figures, Belgian royal family representatives and a number of heads of state are invited to the concert.
