European Travel Commission in session in Bulgaria
Bulgaria’s State Agency for Tourism (SAT) will host important international events on October 2 and 3 2007, the 73th general meeting of the European Travel Commission (ETC), the 45th meeting of the board of directors of ETC and the 3rd Executive Summit Symposium on Operational Excellence.
Participants in the 73th general meeting would discuss the new member-nominees and would accept new members, Focus news agency reported. The meeting will focus on the approval of new business plan of the commission for 2008 – 2010.
The symposium will emphasise on developing public-private partnership in tourism as a main factor for quality management in the branch.
Local tourist organisations representatives were invited to take part in the events, Focus said. They would share their experience in attractive promotion of Bulgarian tourist product on local, national and regional level.
Bulgaria is ETC member since 1992. The organisation itself was founded in 1948. Currently 39 countries are members of the commission.
