First Expat Carvery on November 1
Although spring is making a brief return, Expatinbulgaria.com has decided to change the format of the Expat BBQ to Expat Caveries, the first of which will take place on Saturday, November 1 at JJ Murphy's in Sofia from 4pm onwards.
The carvery will server hot cooked meats, including New Zealand roast beef, roast pork and, for the first time, a dedicated vegetarian nut roast.
Entry fee is 15 leva, food is all you can eat while it lasts.
On November 5, the Expat BBQ will be in Bansko for Bonfire Night, and on November 9 we will be hosting an informal Remembrance Parade at the British cemetry, followed by French and German cemeteries in Sofia from around 10.30am.
After the parade, a reception will be held at the 2030 Brassiere with a three-course menu.
Entry fee for the reception is 38 leva a person including one beer.
Poppies will be available for purchase at the cemetery and the 2030 brasserie before proceeding begin. All proceeds go to the Poppy Appeal charity.
