Garden at JJ Murphy's almost too small for first expat BBQ meeting
Visitors came not only from Sofia, some made the trip from Veliko Turnovo and from Slunchev Bryag especially for the event.
The meeting was organised by expatinbulgaria.com, Andy's Foods and JJ Murphy's, and was the first in a series of expat BBQ meetings to be held across Bulgaria over the coming months.
A 10 leva entry fee bought visitors all they could eat from a selection of beef burgers, hot dogs, bacon rolls and salads, supplied by Andy's Foods. Part of the entry fees went to local charity One Life, which helps children suffering from life shortening and life threatening diseases in Bulgaria.
The next meetings will be held on September 12 at the Akroza bistro in Balchik, on September 13 in the Zuu bar in Varna and on September 14 at the lake in the village of Manastir near Provadiya, Varna district.
