German art critic holds experimental cinema workshops
Glöde, who was the video and photography curator of Art |40| Basel, is known for his focus on the role of art and cinema in (post-)modernism and their connection to other media, while paying particular attention to the link among the fine arts, cinema and architecture.
At the free-of-charge workshops, taking place on September 12 at 6pm at Banya Starinna Centre for Contemporary Art in Plovdiv and on September 15 at 4pm at Academia Gallery in Sofia, he will present a selection of historic and new experimental films while exploring the topic of the materialisation of attitudes.
Organisers of the events are Mobiltel and Art Today Association.
