Hospital staff in Bulgaria plan daily protests
Medics from all hospitals in Stara Zagora plan to take part in daily protests, representatives of the Bulgarian Medical Union (BMU) said.
Protests will take place every day for one hour, starting 12pm.
Staff from all 11 medical facilities in Stara Zagora will refrain from dealing with administrative work and document issuing within the hour.
Doctors will provide emergency aid and will continue carrying out check ups and urgent surgeries, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported.
National medical protests began on February 28 and will continue until demands listed in the national protest declaration are met.
Medics protest against problems in healthcare and funding for the sector as well as against the incomplete medical reform in Bulgaria.
