Mid-February Afro hip-hop to shake Sofia

World Beat Nights – Dancing Around The Globe’s second African Night will be held on February 15 2008, with Nigerian musician Andy once again on centre stage for the night.

During the first Afro night in January, he led a remarkable drum circle, bringing the spirit of Africa to Sofia, but this time Andy will perform some of his Afro rap songs, taking hip-hop back to its African roots.

Dancing Angel & Africandro from Global Vision DJs will also see to the African taste of the night. The organisers will offer exotic tea and food at the event.

Anyone who wants to make their contribution to the Afro night visible, may dress up in Afro garments. Drummers with own instruments are welcomed, as spontaneous music playing has turned into a tradition of World Beat Nights events.

The event will be held in Pulse club at 10.30pm at 50 Tzar Samuil Str. The entrance fee is five leva.
