Two Bulgarians among the richest people in Eastern Europe

Two Bulgarians ranked among the richest people in Eastern Europe, according to an annual ranking of the Polish magazine Wprost.

Vassil Bozhkov, owner of Nove Holding and CSKA football club, ranked 51st. His fortune was one billion dollars, Wprost said.

Bozkov was 57th in the rank last year.

The second Bulgarian in the rank was Vessela Kyuleva owning $ 400 million, Wprost said. She is the widow and heiress of the late banker Emil Kyulev, shot dead in October 2005. She was ranked on 95th place.

Russian businessman Roman Abramovich, owner of $ 19.5 billion ranked first.

The total fortune of the people in the rank was $ 257.5 billion, Wprost said. The sum increased by 75 per cent since 2005.
