World Beat Nights dedicate a night to Bhangra music
Global Vision Circle continues the World Beat Nights – Dancing Around The Globe tradition with an Indian night on February 8 2008.
It is the second Indian night for 2008 and is dedicated to Bhangra music. Bhangra became popular worldwide over the past couple of years, both in its traditional form and as a fusion with genres such as hip-hop, house, R&B and reggae.
The Global Vision DJs Dancing Angel and Dharba will see to the music and an Indian percussion jam session including mridangam, tabla and naghara, will heat the night.
To make the Indian experience complete, Henna body art, Tea shop and Indian food will be provided.
As usual, the meeting point is Sofia’s club Pulse on 50 Samuil Str at 10.30pm. The entrance fee is five leva. This time the dress code is Indian style.
